Author Guidelines
AN-NAZRI: Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published three times a year in January, May, and September. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and conceptual papers in the field of Islamic Studies, including Islamic Education, Islamic Law (Sharia), Qur'anic and Hadith Studies, Islamic Thought, Islamic Philosophy, Da'wah, Islamic Theology, Islamic History and Civilization, Islamic Economics and Finance, Islam and Society, and other interdisciplinary studies.
General Requirements
The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
The manuscript should be written in English.
The manuscript should contain 4,000–7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
Authors must provide a statement confirming that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
All submitted manuscripts will be screened using Turnitin and/or iThenticate before entering the peer-review process.
The manuscript should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
Manuscript Structure
Title
Written in English.
Maximum 15 words.
The title should be concise, informative, and reflect the content of the manuscript.
Font: Palatino Linotype, 14 pt, Bold.
Author Information
Include the full name of each author without academic titles.
Provide institutional affiliation.
Provide the email address of the corresponding author.
ORCID ID is recommended.
Abstract
The abstract should be written in one paragraph consisting of 150–250 words.
It should include the background, research objectives, methodology, main findings, and conclusion.
The abstract should not contain citations or references.
Keywords
Provide three to five keywords or key phrases representing the main topics of the article.
Introduction
The introduction should explain the background of the study, review relevant literature, identify the research gap, state the research objectives or questions, and explain the significance of the study.

Method
Describe the research design, participants or data sources, research instruments, data collection procedures, and data analysis techniques clearly and systematically.
The methodology should provide sufficient detail to enable the study to be replicated.

Findings and Discussion
Present the research findings systematically using tables or figures where appropriate.
Interpret the findings by relating them to previous studies and relevant theories.
Discuss the theoretical and practical implications and explain the contribution of the study.

Conclusion
Summarize the major findings.
State how the findings answer the research objectives.
Explain the contribution of the study.
Provide recommendations or suggestions for future research when appropriate.

References
References must follow APA 7th Edition.
Include only sources cited in the manuscript.
Prioritize recent and reputable scholarly publications.
DOIs or URLs should be provided whenever available.
Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
Submission Preparation Checklist
The manuscript has not been previously published or submitted to another journal.
The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF format.
All references cited in the manuscript are listed in the reference section.
DOIs or URLs have been included whenever available.
Tables and figures are placed within the text at appropriate locations.
The manuscript follows the journal's formatting and referencing requirements.
The manuscript has been prepared for double-blind peer review by removing author-identifying information from the manuscript file.
